YES. We do have a preference for Neurodivergents to apply.
Interested? Let's Talk!

Internship

Position / Internship

Allround or projectspecific support to further the foundation and its projects. Interns that ‘don’t know what they want to do’ in their period have a much slimmer chance of being selected than those who are well prepared, are motivated and provide the information needed to make steps forward. Expect 8 – 32 working hours per week, on average for the duration.

Open Sollicitation

Position / Internship

Invite yourself. Have a plan. Make it count.

The neurodiversity Foundation offers the ability to support the cause with  your input, hours, service and love. You are welcome to contact us, and tell us what you can offer in open sollicitation or apply for any of the other positions. Our working languages are English and Dutch.

Volunteership

Position / Volunteer or Friend of the Foundation

We have many volunteers in our organization. Crucial for the work of each volunteer, is that they know what they want to do, and are willing to put in the time to make their work effective. Expect 3 hours per week at minimum.

Boardmembership

Position / Boardmember of the foundational board, executive board or advisory board

We have a maximum of 6 executives, 5 foundational board members and 15 advisory boardmembers. If you are uniquely suitable for any of these roles, you can apply. Expect 4 hours per week at minimum for Exec & Foundational Board, and 1 hour per week at minimum for the Advisory Board.

Fundraiser

Position / Fundraiser

The role of fundraiser, is the only position with payment, if the teammember that has the role wishes to be paid for their work. We have many ways to raise funds, but not enough staff to implement our actions. Therefore, we allways are open to new talent to craft a plan to generate the projectfunds we need for our charity. Expect 2-16 hours per week, and compensation based on results.

Translator

Position / Volunteer

To support more people with tools and materials in their own language, we need more translators. The translations you will make are mostly for the Neurodiversity Education Academy, and sometimes for events like ND Pride.  This helps us deliver free access to tools, articles, and events. There is no minimum or maximum for this role.

Teammember

Position / Teammember or Friend of the Organization

We don’t have paid positions, yet, but we have many unpaid teammembers supporting a project, a department or the organisation at large.

Research Fellow

Position / Research Fellow

Each year we have a cohort of researchers, each doing their own research about neurodiversity. The new cohort is open for submissions starting September 1st 2025. Read more on neurodiversiteit.nl/neurodiversity-research

Research contributor

Position / Teammember

We often have research efforts running. If you want to support the research in the Neurodiversity Foundation, as an unpaid teammember, feel free to apply.

Ambassador

Position / Honorary

To support and promote the Neurodiversity Foundation, in the way you can. We have about 15 ambassadors for the organization now, and are allways on the lookout for people who can represent our mission and values in their own areas.
